I want to stress the hospitality I received from the hosts. Robbie and Steppie. You won’t find two more friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable hosts! I was lucky to be able to go on two tours with them, one to Lake Bled and Ljubljana in Slovenia, and another to the Croatian coast, including Opatija, Pula and Rovinj. I highly recommend these tours to other guests, they are amazing, and you really get your money’s worth!

Staying with Robbie and Steppie was like staying with instant friends. They made me feel welcomed from the first second. The breakfast in the last morning was so amazing, and also filled with family history about the recipe. Thanks again for the lovely time together.

Great experience with these guysh. Everything was easy and precise! I received very detailed information about how to reach the house and places where to park the car. The bed is comfy and the house is great to spend your time! The hosts are very friendly, welcoming and accomodating, super expert of Zagreb and ready to suggest things according to your taste. The breakfast was very good. I’m sorry I couldn’t stay longer… I hope you’ll enjoy as much I did.

Robbie & Steppie are absolutely delightful hosts. They bring great conversation, incredibly accommodating, fantastic recommendations, and will make sure you’re not left hungry. They made me and my partner’s stay in Zagreb truly fantastic. So glad to have met them. It would be a disservice to yourself to not book their place if it’s available.

This was my first experience at MisterB&B. Upon arriving, I was greeted by two wonderful people, Rob and Stepe, and their pet, Potter… The house, the attention, it’s everything ❣. The decor is unique; it’s the first time I’ve visited a place with such a level of attention to detail. The cleanliness and tidiness were 10/10. I felt right at home. I miss them… When I return to Croatia, I will definitely stay with them again. They were always there to guide me and help me with anything I needed. In short, they are simply too special.

My stay was absolutely delightful! The boys welcomed me into their home as if I was a long-time friend. I had the added benefit of having them spend the afternoon taking me on a guided tour of Zagreb. It was PERFECT to see the city from a local perspective, and they took me places I would have otherwise not known about. If you are considering a stay at Blokes Base, I highly recommend it…they even included me in their meals and wine nights during my stay.

I loved my stay, and was instantly welcomed and felt straight at home. Robbie is an excellent host with a plethora of ideas to enhance your visit to Zagreb. Nearby easy transport into the centre, and lots of shops should you need anything. Oh and he makes a great cup of coffee!

My time with Robbie, Steppi, and Porter was AMAZING. First time in Zagreb (and Croatia) and I felt welcomed from the time they accepted my reservation. Robbie is a great communicator with helpful tips; travel from the airport to their place, recommendations around town, and causal conversations at their place. When I return to Zagreb, I will ONLY stay with them. I felt at home

I’ve stayed with Robbie, Steppi and Potter in the summer. They are two of the nicest guys I’ve met. Great accommodation, fantastic hosts. Look after you. Over feed you 😂😂😂 Definitely highly recommend staying with them and their beautiful cat Potter. Also give you great ideas for days out so you’re never bored. Easy to use buses, trams to city centre. Also had a last minute day out in Ljubljana in Slovenia. Fantastic markets and Christmas well done

Robbie and Steppie are the most charming, generous, and thoughtful hosts. Within an hour of arriving I felt I was staying with old friends. They went above and beyond in making my stay comfortable – including a delicious goulash (made by Robbie), great breakfasts, and some fab conversations around a glass of wine in the evenings. My stay was really too brief!

What a nice experience staying with Robbie, Steppie & little Pottie!! Robbie gave me amazing suggestions that I won’t get a chance to experience if visiting this city without him!
